Responsibilities

• Hands-on work with area teams to troubleshoot plant issues and interpret drawings.
• Preparation of proposal layouts, descriptions, timelines, RFQs, specifications, and budgets for capital and large projects.
• Updating and creating plant and equipment drawings using document management systems.
• Design of small structures and improved parts/equipment.
• Knowledge of current codes, regulations, and standards in various engineering disciplines.
• Initiating, leading, and upholding safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards.

Requirements

• Four year degree from an accredited university in mechanical engineering.
• 2 years experience as a mechanical engineer in an industrial environment.
• Proficient with AutoCAD.

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years of experience in leading cross-functional projects, including electrical and civil engineering, in an industrial environment.
