We are excited to welcome an intern to our collaborative team this summer! As a Mechanical Engineer intern, you will assist with the mechanical packaging design of communication electronics products and test fixtures for defense and commercial applications. You will have the opportunity to build CAD models and engineering drawings. You will collaborate with a diversified group of teammates including electrical engineers, manufacturing engineers, material specialists, and program managers.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior mechanical engineers with electronic packaging design CAD model modification or creation
- Drawing revisions or creation
- Support of manufacturing activities
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering
- Final graduation date must fall between December 2025 and June 2026
- A working knowledge of SolidWorks
- US citizenship required
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with SolidWorks, SolidEdge, or Creo
- Experience with ANSYS or NASTRAN
- Completed a heat transfer course
- Experience with engineering drawings
