Responsibilities

  • Assists in the creation of robust, scalable, secure, and extensible designs and verification plans for the hardware engineering aspects of a well-defined feature or product extension.
  • Assists in the development of basic prototype hardware components for use in development, testing, or validation of new product features.
  • Assists in evaluating prototypes for the purpose of innovating, optimizing and maturing designs.
  • Collaborates and assists in project implementation, documenting essential details and following established procedures.
  • Conceptualizes and designs mechanical parts using 3D CAD Software.
  • Develops innovative hardware and leading-edge technologies while collaborating with multiple disciplines.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Requires at least one additional quarter/semester of school remaining following the completion of the internship.

Benefits

  • Base pay range of USD $5,460 - $10,680 per month, with a different range applicable to specific work locations in the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area (USD $7,040 - $11,640 per month).
  • Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
