Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and analysis of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems using engineering software.
  • Interact with clients to gather project requirements and communicate technical information effectively.
  • Support project planning and scheduling tasks to meet deadlines and objectives.
  • Document design decisions and monitor project design progress.
  • Analyze engineering tasks and propose innovative solutions in collaboration with senior engineers.
  • Participate in quality control processes to ensure compliance with standards and client requirements.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and contribute to research and innovation efforts.
  • Prioritize safety in engineering work and identify potential risks.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required.
  • Knowledge of design techniques and tools for technical plans and specifications.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills in thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard engineering software, particularly HVAC load calculation software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of BIM software.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior internship experience in the building design consulting industry preferred.
