As a member of the Propulsion Systems Mechanical Engineering Department, you will be involved in the design, development, testing, and integration of turbine and piston propulsion engines, along with their associated systems such as fuel, oil, cooling, and pneumatic systems. Your work will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our aircraft, which are at the forefront of technological innovation in the aerospace industry. In this role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and articulating innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges. You will lead and guide research efforts to solve engineering problems, providing mentorship to junior engineers and support staff. Your expertise will be essential in providing field service support as a subject matter expert on propulsion systems and their components. You will also interact with senior-level personnel, preparing and presenting design reviews and technical materials to executive management. This position requires a commitment to safety and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, ensuring that all engineering practices align with established operating procedures. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical or aerospace engineering, with direct experience in aircraft propulsion systems and fluid conveyance systems.
