About the position

The Mechanical Engineer/Robotics position involves working with a cutting-edge robotics startup focused on advanced suspension systems for off-road and automotive applications. The role requires a deep understanding of active suspension design and stability control algorithms, with responsibilities including the analysis of high-speed spinning systems and the development of solutions to ensure system integrity and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze high-speed spinning systems and identify vibration sources.
  • Develop robust solutions to ensure system integrity and performance of the robotic arm.
  • Lead the design, development, and testing of advanced active suspension systems for automotive or off-road vehicle platforms.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of experience designing and developing active suspension systems, ideally for automotive or off-road vehicles.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical dynamics, vibration analysis, and control systems with hands-on experience developing stability control algorithms.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA), MATLAB/Simulink, and finite element analysis (FEA).
  • Ability to diagnose complex mechanical and control issues, propose solutions, and see them through to implementation.
  • Bachelor's, Master's degree, or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
