About the position

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team, where you will work closely with cross-functional teams to create and update product drawings using SolidWorks. This role involves interacting with Product Management to support estimating and leading design for custom application capital equipment, as well as creating test plans and validating specifications. You will maintain accurate BOMs, lead engineering projects, and ensure timelines are met from design concept to product launch. Additionally, you will engage with customers to clarify expectations related to new and existing products.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to create and update product drawings using SolidWorks.
• Interact with Product Management to support estimating and lead design for custom application capital equipment.
• Create test plans and validate that they meet all specifications and requirements defined within the project.
• Maintain accurate BOM by creating precise drawings and ensuring all parts are entered into the ERP System properly.
• Lead engineering projects and track deliverables to ensure timelines are met from design concept to product launch through internal testing.
• Interact with customers to develop, define, and clarify expectations related to new products and/or existing product improvements.

Requirements

• Proficiency in SolidWorks and 3D design.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related Engineering degree.
• At least 5 years of design and project management experience.
• Experience with 2D and 3D Drawing (SolidWorks required).
• Strong customer service and team collaboration skills.
