About the position

In this role, you will work as a Project Engineer focusing on various projects including industrial, educational, health care, and commercial facilities. Your primary responsibilities will involve overseeing HVAC, fire protection, piping, plumbing, and temperature controls projects. You will be actively involved in the planning phase, which includes cost development, scheduling, and coordination with utilities, communication systems, structures, machines, equipment, and processes. Your ability to collaborate effectively with the project team and meet deadlines will be crucial to your success in this position. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to apply engineering principles to ensure project specifications are met efficiently and effectively. You will also be expected to contribute to the production of construction documents and ensure that all designs comply with relevant codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HVAC, fire protection, piping, plumbing, and temperature controls projects.
• Participate in planning, cost development, scheduling, and coordination with utilities.
• Collaborate with the project team to meet deadlines and project specifications.
• Contribute to the production of construction documents and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Utilize AutoCAD and REVIT for design and drafting tasks.

Requirements

• P.E. certification is required.
• 7+ years of HVAC, Mechanical Piping, and Plumbing Design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• Knowledge of procedures for design and the production of construction documents.
• Thorough understanding of mechanical planning, layout, drafting, and detailing.

• Salary based on experience, ranging from $95,000 to $135,000.
