About the position

The Mechanical Engineer will play a crucial role in managing multiple projects from their early concept stages through to mass production. This position is integral to a collaborative team environment, where the engineer will provide project management and the necessary technical direction to ensure the successful and timely implementation of new products. The role involves monitoring and analyzing mechanical devices to identify and resolve any problems that may arise during the development process. In this position, the Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for developing and testing devices aimed at improving product performance. This includes recommending design changes, identifying cost reduction opportunities, enhancing warranty processes, and addressing manufacturing issues. The engineer will conduct and analyze tests to track results and implement improvements based on findings. Collaboration with marketing teams and vendors is essential, as the engineer will provide product specifications to guide their efforts. Additionally, the Mechanical Engineer will perform root cause analysis to identify issues and work towards effective resolutions. The role requires overseeing all necessary engineering qualification tests associated with projects, ensuring compliance with all external parties involved. Documentation is a key aspect of this position, as the engineer will write product specifications, document test results, prepare product operating instructions, and review technical literature. Participation in test runs or field installations is also expected, contributing to the overall success of the projects.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Industry experience with SolidWorks.
  • Previous experience working with high-speed production machinery.
  • Proficient in English.
