About the position

The Mechanical Engineer role is part of the Engineering division, focusing on the design, installation, and maintenance of various technology systems globally. This position offers a high level of autonomy and empowerment, allowing the engineer to collaborate with the Lead Engineer and other stakeholders to develop new hardware and propose modifications to existing designs. The role involves performing engineering calculations, executing services in the field, and providing technical assistance to clients and construction teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Lead Engineer and other team members.
• Assist in the development of new hardware and propose modifications to existing designs.
• Perform engineering calculations including stress analysis.
• Execute services including installations and maintenance in the field.
• Generate proposal documentation and sales models for early design needs.
• Visit client locations to provide technical assistance directly.
• Guide client and construction teams on-site regarding field installations.
• Manage formal documentation and support the group manager with project oversight.
• Communicate technical details following client directives and address client feedback.

Requirements

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2-5+ years of experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated, as well as part of a team.
• Strong computer skills and organizing skills.
• Ability to perform engineering calculations and design creatively.
• Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and write in English.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with 3D modeling (preferably Autodesk Inventor).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
