About the position

The Mechanical Engineer position involves supporting the configuration, maintenance, and factory support of generator set products for a leading manufacturer in the construction and mining equipment sector. The role requires ensuring compliance with design, integration, and market requirements while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update global pricelists and Bills of Materials (BoMs) for large generator sets.
• Conduct Virtual Design Review Audits (VDRA), addressing both L5 and L3 issues.
• Manage Engineering Design Changes (EHD), including pricing arrangements, print changes, and order updates.
• Respond to product support inquiries related to model issues, BoM discrepancies, and TMI package data.
• Update Technical Construction Files (TCF) for marine and gas products.
• Collaborate with marketing and product definition teams to manage pricelist updates and route Product Lifecycle Change Notices (PLCNs).
• Ensure proper product rules for design, integration, application, and market readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Experience with power generation systems and power distribution.
• Hands-on experience with VisMockup, Creo, Teamcenter, EDS, and HVC.
• Understanding of virtual validation, plant processes, and BoM management.
