Actalent Services is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to play a crucial role in supporting the Mechanical Integrity program for both current assets and new construction initiatives aimed at enhancing our facilities. This position is integral to ensuring the safety and reliability of mechanical systems within the organization. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and evaluations related to mechanical integrity, which is essential for maintaining the operational efficiency and safety of our facilities. In this role, the Mechanical Engineer will assist with Suitability for Service (SFS) and Fitness for Service (FFS) evaluations, which are critical assessments that determine whether equipment and systems are safe and suitable for continued operation. The engineer will coordinate mechanical integrity inspections and manage the associated data, ensuring that all information is accurate and accessible. Collaboration is key in this position, as the engineer will work closely with Process Safety Engineers, Operations teams, Technical Services, and field office personnel to ensure that all aspects of mechanical integrity are addressed comprehensively. The Mechanical Engineer will also be responsible for advising management on technical evaluations, staying updated on the latest technical developments in the field, and ensuring that data integrity, reliability, and accessibility are maintained. This includes organizing and updating production information and effectively communicating data to engineers, operations leaders, and other stakeholders. Additionally, the engineer will assist with regulatory determinations and perform other related duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the Mechanical Integrity program.
