Responsibilities

• Provide engineering design and analysis for gas distribution projects
• Prepare general layout and final construction drawings
• Collaborate with operations, project sponsors, and union design/drafting staff
• Coordinate technical communication with permitting municipalities and service providers
• Prepare assembly and detail designs of mechanical and structural projects
• Design dimensional details to avoid equipment interference
• Prepare bill of materials for construction projects

Requirements

• Engineering degree required
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in engineering
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, ArcGIS, BlueBeam

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with STORMS / Maximo or other work management software preferred
• NY State Engineering License preferred
• Experience in gas utility engineering
• Familiarity with Maximo or related software
