About The Position
The Mechanical Engineer position at the Department of the Navy involves serving as a liaison in the Crane Engineering Section of the Waterfront Support Department at the Trident Refit Facility in Kings Bay, GA. The role focuses on providing mechanical engineering support for the design, maintenance, operation, inspection, testing, and alterations of Weight and Material Handling Equipment (WHE/MHE). The engineer will ensure compliance with NAVFAC P-307 guidelines and will be responsible for evaluating and implementing mechanical alterations to existing systems.
