About the position
The Judge Group has partnered with a global, publicly traded manufacturer to identify a Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team in Bloomfield, New Mexico. This role is highly visible, reporting directly to the site Plant Manager, and will serve as the site's 'Engineering Expert'. The ideal candidate will be versatile, capable of handling various responsibilities including product design, performing engineering calculations, creating 3D models, and planning capital projects. This position presents an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to advance their career in Mechanical Engineering, with numerous growth opportunities within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Working with current designs through the use of AutoCAD 3D
- Performing minor calculations such as weights
- Using existing spreadsheets for the completion of calculations
- Copying and completing datasheets for parts procurement
- Assisting designers to obtain 3D vendor drawings of parts
- Creating 3D Models from existing equipment for submittals to the Client
- Organizing specifications and drawings in the proper place for the Engineering team to review
- Assisting in creating/copying proposal drawings on time
- Answering minor questions on equipment design
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- 1-3 years Engineering Experience in a Manufacturing setting
