About the position

The Mechanical Engineer position is a permanent role within a leading manufacturing firm, focusing on the development, design, and manufacturing of innovative product lines. The ideal candidate will contribute significantly to the engineering team, applying their expertise in project management, engineering analysis, quality control, and manufacturing processes. This role emphasizes mechanical testing and proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and Solidworks, particularly in relation to HVAC systems and industrial fans.

Responsibilities

• Developing and designing new products from concept to completion, using expertise in Engineering Analysis and Product Development.
• Managing projects effectively, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within budget.
• Implementing and maintaining Quality Control procedures to uphold the high standards of products.
• Overseeing and optimizing Manufacturing Processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Conducting rigorous Mechanical Testing to ensure the safety and reliability of products.
• Using AutoCAD and Solidworks to create detailed designs and plans.
• Applying knowledge of HVAC, blowers, and industrial fans to the development of products.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects.
• Identifying and solving technical issues using strong problem-solving skills.
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure products remain competitive.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience in Project Management, Engineering Analysis, Quality Control, Product Development, and Manufacturing Processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Solidworks, and other relevant software.
• Experience with HVAC, blowers, and industrial fans is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Commitment to continuous learning and development.
• Professional Engineering (PE) certification is a plus.
