About the position

As a Project Engineer Mechanical at BuhlerPrince, Inc, you will engage in engineering tasks focused on the design of products, tools, machines, and mechanical equipment. This role involves applying established procedures to ensure the effective development and production of BuhlerPrince products and industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs functional and empirical analysis related to designs
• Inputs design into CAD system
• Develops Bills of Material (BOM)
• Completes necessary documents to release designs to production
• Assists in machine start-up and run-off
• Develops testing devices and fixtures of a mechanical nature
• Assists other mechanical project engineers as needed
• May participate in multi-functional design teams

Requirements

• 4-year Mechanical Engineering degree or other equivalent training or experience
• Highly developed computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Experience working in a team environment

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in machine design
• Experience in Siemens NX, SolidWorks, & AutoCAD software
• Experience in DFMA and FMEA processes
