As a Mechanical Engineer at our Willow Island facility, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving production equipment and facilities. This position involves collaborating with maintenance personnel to develop repair plans, overseeing repairs and upgrades, and enhancing production reliability and safety. Requirements

• 3-7 years of experience in the chemical, manufacturing, or related industry.
• Capital Management experience.
• Experience with API standards related to process piping, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and storage tanks.
• Familiarity with SAP business platform as pertains to MI.
• Fluent English is required.

Nice To Haves

• Proven track record of experience in chemical plant operations or manufacturing, combined with a relevant qualification in mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and analyze asset databases for performance and repair histories, including vessels, piping, and mechanical PMs.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and optimize Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules.
• Manage the site Mechanical Integrity program and vibration monitoring program.
• Support technical plant layout and equipment upgrades.
• Lead and manage projects, providing support for process equipment and system repairs.
• Utilize SAP in various functions to support the mechanical integrity program.
• Track and maintain mechanical regulatory inspections as outlined in API standards.
• Improve and monitor Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) for appropriate equipment.
