About the position
The Mechanical Engineering Co-op/Intern position at Honda for Summer 2025 offers college students hands-on, project-based work relevant to their field of study. Responsibilities
- Engage in hands-on, project-based work relevant to the department of placement.
- Participate in manufacturing activities related to equipment, process, quality, and new model activities.
- Conduct vehicle testing and quality assurance tasks.
- Assist in project management and problem analysis.
- Investigate new technologies and implement countermeasures.
- Update and document CAD drawings of existing infrastructure.
- Design manufacturing equipment and tooling using CAD systems.
- Support the development of vehicle testing and countermeasure analysis.
- Attend meetings and collaborate with various design and manufacturing groups.
Requirements
- Enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program studying Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA or higher.
- Class status: Sophomore (by credit hour) or above.
- Availability to work a minimum of 10 weeks at 40 hours per week.
- Valid U.S. Driver's License and ability to provide own transportation.
