About the position

The position is an internship focused on New Product Development within HVAC Engineering at Carrier Global Corporation. The role involves supporting engineering projects, developing product documentation, and collaborating with design teams to enhance product design and functionality. Interns will gain hands-on experience in CAD modeling, project management, and product testing while working in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean Up / Update Product Data
• Configure and build CAD models to assist in speedy decision-making on NPD projects
• Develop test cases to validate Product Design and Software
• Support engineering projects by organizing parts for prototype builds and working with mechanics and model shop to build parts and assemblies
• Work with the design team in developing purchased parts specifications
• Attend company functions, lunch and learns, and networking events
• Shadow multiple office positions and train in a variety of tasks

Requirements

• Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• GPA must be greater than or equal to a 3.0
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
