About the position

The Mechanical Engineering Internship at KLA is designed for students pursuing a degree in engineering. The intern will work under the guidance of a senior engineer to design hardware solutions for technical problems, present their designs to a larger team, procure necessary hardware, and validate/test the designs. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem, contributing to innovative solutions in metrology and inspection products.

Responsibilities

• Design hardware solutions to solve technical problems under the direction of a senior engineer.
• Present design concepts to a larger team for feedback and approval.
• Procure necessary hardware components for the design.
• Validate and test the designed hardware solutions.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Some college coursework or relevant work experience.
