About the position
We are looking for a full-time Mechanical Engineer with over 6 years of experience in a Consulting Engineering or Design/Build environment. The role involves working collaboratively with a team to design HVAC and plumbing systems for buildings, focusing on providing effective solutions for clients. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, technically proficient, and capable of managing projects effectively.
Responsibilities
- Design HVAC and plumbing systems for buildings.
- Manage projects from design to construction.
- Interface with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports.
- Ensure compliance with California Building Codes.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a mechanical engineer.
- EIT or PE Certificate.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Experience in MEP Design.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in healthcare systems design.
- Knowledge of hydronics and plumbing systems.
- Familiarity with energy modeling and construction support.
- Understanding of BMS controls.
