About the position

Adecco is seeking an immediate hire for a Mechanical Engineering Technician. The successful candidate will provide service and repair for a variety of equipment, leveraging their technical expertise in mechanical and electronic systems. This role is crucial in ensuring that operational teams receive the necessary support through data analysis and data entry, which are essential for maintaining efficient operations. The technician will also be responsible for developing and recommending procedures and methods, as well as preparing manufacturing process sheets, technical documents, and reports that are vital for the workflow and documentation of processes. In addition to these responsibilities, the technician will perform technical evaluations of events to determine root causes of issues and recommend corrective actions. This analytical aspect of the role is critical, as it helps in maintaining the integrity of operations and ensuring that equipment functions optimally. The technician will also be accountable for order processing, managing material requirements, and maintaining systems that balance the demand and supply of parts, which is essential for seamless operations and minimizing downtime. Overall, this position requires a blend of technical skills, analytical thinking, and effective communication to support the operational team and ensure that all equipment is serviced and repaired efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Provides assistance to operational team through data analysis and data entry.
  • Develops and recommends procedures and methods and prepares manufacturing process sheets, technical documents, and reports.
  • Performs technical evaluations of events to determine root causes; recommends corrective action.
  • Accountable for order processing, material requirements, and maintaining systems to balance the demand and supply of parts.

Requirements

  • Experience: 2 years minimum.
  • Must have basic knowledge of aviation maintenance.
  • Able to use a variety of hand tools, gauges, precision tools, micrometers, etc.
  • Able to interpret maintenance manuals and diagrams.
  • Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures.
  • Must have basic computer skills.
