As a Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer at Westinghouse Electric Company, you will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) fuel at the Columbia Fuel Fabrication Facility (CFFF). This position requires you to assume lead technical responsibility, which encompasses the specification of new processes, design, development, installation, and qualification of new equipment. You will be tasked with analyzing and proposing new business opportunities and contributing to the strategic plans of the plant or division. Familiarity with multiple functional areas within CFFF will be essential for successfully planning and implementing the BWR product flow through the facility. In addition to technical responsibilities, you will prepare technical papers and deliver formal presentations to customers and stakeholders. Collaborating with management, engineering, and other staff will be crucial to discuss manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations that facilitate the rollout of the BWR product line.
