About the position

The Mechanical Project Engineer will be a key member of a dynamic and diverse team at Tech USA, responsible for leading design efforts in MEP and commercial building projects. This full-time position requires a proactive approach to quality control and design management, with opportunities for growth into project management roles.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in the Corporate Quality Control Department.
• Responsible for complete design by discipline for projects of all sizes.
• Makes major design recommendations and design decisions with little input from senior staff.
• Plans design work and assigns design duties to staff working on projects.
• Desire to move into Project Management and seek out future projects.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 5-10 years of MEP/Commercial building design experience, preferably in healthcare or education.
• Ability to perform all essential duties and responsibilities of an Engineer.
• Demonstrated outstanding leadership in either the Technical or Project Management Path.
• Ability to provide a high level of leadership to others.
• Ability to perform final quality control check in their area of expertise.
