About The Position
The Mechanical Project Engineer at Actalent is responsible for designing material handling equipment, including conveyor belts and other machinery, tailored to specific facility requirements. This role involves enhancing site capacity, retrofitting areas for new equipment, and optimizing existing layouts. The engineer will develop project scopes, write RFPs, collaborate with vendors for site selection, and oversee the engineering design process leading to execution. The position requires up to 50% travel for site visits.
