About the position

Actalent is seeking a Project Manager to maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective actions, and developing communication plans with both internal and external stakeholders to provide timely project updates. The Project Manager will lead all aspects of project administration, ensuring adherence to contract penalty clauses and analyzing reporting to identify project deficiencies. This role involves managing projects to business compliance, project documentation, safety guidelines, and navigating through governing agency requirements at various levels. Financial management of projects is also a key responsibility, including cash flow management, monthly forecasting, expense monitoring, and preparation for monthly backlog reviews with leadership. The Project Manager will validate project scope, cost, and schedule by reviewing contract documents, holding internal meetings, and establishing customer expectations while identifying risks and developing mitigation plans. Additionally, the role requires overseeing subcontractor processes, managing project schedules, and ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns and implementing corrective actions.
  • Lead all aspects of project administration, ensuring adherence to contract penalty clauses and analyzing reporting for project deficiencies.
  • Financially manage all aspects of projects including cash flow, monthly forecasts, and expense monitoring.
  • Validate project scope, cost, and schedule by reviewing contract documents and establishing customer expectations.
  • Utilize qualified subcontractors, manage the RFQ process, and oversee subcontractor execution.
  • Create and maintain project schedules utilizing tasks, dependencies, and milestones.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years commercial project management experience.
  • High School diploma.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite - Intermediate, Outlook, etc.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months with no major traffic violations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Project Management Degree.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
