About the position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Setup Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of presses and machinery, ensuring high-quality production standards. This role is essential in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our manufacturing processes while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate stamping presses and other machinery to produce metal components according to specifications.
• Conduct quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
• Perform basic math calculations for measurements and adjustments during the production process.
• Safely operate forklifts to transport materials within the production area.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot equipment issues and improve production efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Setup and Press Operator or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred.
• Familiarity with stamping presses.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality inspection processes.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations are essential.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus but not required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
