About the position

The Mechanical Superintendent - Solar position at Black & Veatch involves overseeing construction activities on a solar project in Petersburg, IN. The superintendent will be responsible for coordinating technical requirements, monitoring productivity, and maintaining effective communication among all project stakeholders. Responsibilities

• Assist the Construction Manager in ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and performance standards.
• Monitor and report on construction activities for compliance with the CPM schedule.
• Assist craft/subcontractors in resolving issues related to drawings, schedule, quality, and safety.
• Monitor discipline construction productivity and report to the Construction Manager.
• Develop and monitor a 3 Week Look Ahead Schedule for assigned work scope.
• Conduct foreman/subcontractor meetings for planning purposes.
• Maintain a daily log for site records and review timesheets and progress reports.
• Develop Job Hazard Analysis for major erection packages.
• Support commercial recovery processes and assist in preparing extra work authorization requests.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Construction Manager on equivalent projects.
• Valid Driver's License.
• OSHA 10 certification.
