About the position
Join MEPPI as a Mechanical Technician II, where you will play a crucial role in assembling advanced transportation products. This position focuses on performing electro-mechanical assembly tasks, troubleshooting, and ensuring high-quality standards in product assembly. You will collaborate with experienced technicians and contribute to innovative solutions in the transportation sector.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced electro-mechanical assembly tasks.
- Work with complex wiring and ensure product quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with Senior Technicians on high-voltage insulation testing.
- Troubleshoot and repair non-conforming products.
- Interpret technical drawings, mechanical blueprints, and electrical schematics.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Associate's degree in electronics or a related technical field is a plus.
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience reading and understanding technical drawings and diagrams.
- Basic computer skills, particularly with MS Office and ERP systems.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in power tools.
