About The Position

The Mechatronics & Robotics Apprentice (MRA) at C&W Services is designed to provide hands-on training in the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electronic, mechanical, and control systems within a fulfillment/distribution center. This role includes a comprehensive learning program that combines classroom instruction with on-the-job training, ultimately leading to a promotion to Mechatronics & Robotics Technician (MRT) upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass a Mechanical Aptitude Test.
• Ability to enroll in and attend a 12-week training program at designated colleges.
• Commitment to complete one year of On-the-Job Learning (OJL) after training.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Ability to work flexible schedules and shifts.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in an electrical, mechanical, or controls field.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety protocols and procedures during training and job shadowing.
• Perform scheduled, predictive, and preventive maintenance on systems and equipment.
• Analyze technical specifications of mechatronic systems and components.
• Learn and work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) in a laboratory setting.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate within a team environment.
