About the position

The Program Staff Scheduler at KBR plays a crucial role in supporting the Department of State by providing medical support services. This position involves analyzing program activities related to acquisition planning, financial management, and cost analysis to ensure effective program execution at the United States Embassy and adjacent facilities in the Middle East.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze program activities such as acquisition program planning and financial management.
  • Compile and review budgets against actual performance and other data sources.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve program objectives within agreed criteria.
  • Prepare acquisition strategies/plans and other documentation supporting acquisition decisions.
  • Control costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control systems.
  • Prepare reports to ensure contracts are within negotiated parameters and guidelines.
  • Assist in financial analyses such as funding profiles and variance analysis.
  • Maintain accurate records of expenditures and prepare expenditure projections.
  • Develop plans including budgets and schedules for program requirements.
  • Support the program manager in executing the mission and program reviews.
  • Analyze business procedures to devise efficient methods of work.
  • Organize and document findings of studies and prepare recommendations for new systems or procedures.
  • Train personnel in the application of new systems and conduct operational effectiveness reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 0 to 2 years of relevant experience within the program.
  • Must be medically fit and willing to travel CONUS and OCONUS.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • U.S. Citizenship with a current U.S. Driver's License.
  • Possess a passport book with at least 13 months of remaining validity and 6 blank visa/stamp pages.
  • Fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
  • Meet CENTCOM MOD (Fit for Duty) theater requirements.
  • Possess or be able to obtain a U.S. Government issued Secret security clearance.
