About the position

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for a rewarding contract position in Washington DC. Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a Med/Surg setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Requirements

• 1+ year of recent experience in Med/Surg specialty and setting.
• Valid nursing license as required by Washington DC.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through AHA recommended and may be required.
• Specialty-related certifications are preferred and may be required.
