Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care in a Med/Surg setting.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-discharge care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of recent experience in Med/Surg nursing specialty and setting.
  • Valid nursing license as required by the state of Virginia.
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through AHA recommended and may be required.
  • Specialty-related certifications are preferred and may be required.
  • Completed Profile and Professional References.
