About the position

Terrace Ridge Assisted Living is seeking a full-time Med Tech to provide leadership and management of care for residents. The role involves assisting with medication administration and ensuring compliance with state regulations and community policies. The Med Tech will supervise the care team and contribute to creating an engaged culture for team members, residents, and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership in day-to-day care operations.
• Directly supervise and assist the care team.
• Assist in providing resident care and services.
• Participate in recruiting, hiring, training, and coaching of the care team.
• Recognize and create an engaged culture for team members, residents, and families.

Requirements

• NC certificates to practice as an Assisted Living Medication Technician and a Personal Care Aide.
• One year of care experience within a senior care setting.
• One year of supervisory experience preferred in assisted living, home health, long-term care, or hospital industries.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Demonstrated judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Effective organization, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and delegate assignments.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Ability to work responsibly as a team member and individually.

Nice-to-haves
