About the position
Generalist MT position including Hematology, Chemistry, Blood Bank, Clinical Microscopy, Coagulation, Immunology, Special Chemistry, and Microbiology.
Requirements
- BS degree in Medical Technology or related science field (must meet requirements for MT certification)
- MT certification by ASCP, AMT or AAB or other nationally recognized certification agency
- New graduates must pass one of the national certification exams within 18 months of hire
- Competency assessment and continuing education in laboratory sciences required throughout employment
- Maintenance of certification is required during employment with Archbold Medical Center
- Experience as deemed necessary to be in accordance with certification by the Georgia Department of Human Resources
