About the position

The SEO Analyst at Starcom plays a crucial role in supporting client accounts to achieve their objectives. This position involves collaborating with internal teams, managing projects, and contributing to client service processes. The Analyst will engage in data analysis, reporting, and the implementation of SEO best practices while gaining exposure to the media landscape and client relationship management.

Responsibilities

  • Support client accounts towards stated objectives
  • Assist internal client service teams as directed by the SEO Manager
  • Initiate and coordinate projects with other internal teams
  • Create and follow a self-directed learning plan to master SEO fundamentals
  • Project manage components of assigned accounts
  • Participate in weekly/monthly client calls
  • Submit and manage resource plan requests and quality assurance
  • Assist with data and performance monitoring
  • Implement best practices in account and program management
  • Maintain autonomy during execution of pre-defined tasks
  • Support assigned accounts in pulling data and creating reports and presentations
  • Track work assignments daily and manage client task reports
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Relevant SEO work or internship experience preferred
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, SEMrush, BrightEdge, Moz, Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, or Conductor is a plus
  • Strong analytical and implementation skills
  • High competency level in MS Office products including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work as directed and balance multiple tasks

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with various SEO tools and analytics platforms
  • Familiarity with project management processes
  • Understanding of client service processes
