About the position

The Media Assistant, Digital position is a hybrid role based in Pearl River, NY, focused on managing assigned digital campaigns and performing various administrative tasks. The successful candidate will assist in the execution and management of digital marketing initiatives, ensuring that campaigns are effectively implemented and monitored. This role involves inputting new campaigns into the Spectra OX system, updating vendor contact information, and managing the trafficking of insertion orders to vendors. The Media Assistant will also be responsible for revising insertion orders as necessary and executing jobs in PeopleSoft to reserve trade credits. In addition to campaign management, the Media Assistant will handle the input of new campaigns into the Doubleclick DFA application, ensuring proactive maintenance and stewardship of all buys. The role requires managing research, auditing, and trafficking of creative assets for online campaigns, which is crucial for maintaining the quality and effectiveness of digital marketing efforts. Building and cultivating strong relationships with online publishers and vendors is also a key aspect of this position, as it facilitates smoother operations and enhances collaboration. The Media Assistant will provide reports from Nielsen NetRatings, @Plan, and AdRelevance as needed, which will help in analyzing campaign performance and making informed decisions. Monthly reconciliation of invoices is another critical responsibility, where the assistant will match line items on invoices to those on insertion orders, troubleshoot unmatched invoices, and liaise with vendors for missing invoices. Additionally, the Media Assistant will create billing packets for the Finance department, ensuring accurate financial documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned digital campaigns in the Spectra OX system.
  • Input new campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience is required.
  • 1 year of related experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
  • Experience with digital media applications such as Doubleclick's DART ad serving system, MediaOcean's media stewardship software, and Comscore's analytical tools is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SRDS, Adspender, and 3rd party Ad Serving software (DCM etc.).
  • Familiarity with POWS / POWS Lite.
