QuinStreet is seeking a highly skilled Media Buyer specializing in Google Display and YouTube advertising to join our Media Buying Team. This role is pivotal in creating and managing high-budget paid campaigns across the Google Display Network (GDN) and YouTube Ads. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance marketing, particularly in customer acquisition and lead generation, and will be responsible for developing and scaling direct response campaigns aimed at driving significant performance results. This hands-on position requires expertise in building, executing, and optimizing paid social media buys within ad-buying platforms. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, motivated to contribute to the ambitious goal of growing GDN and YouTube Ads into a $100M+ channel. In this role, you will manage the entire campaign process from development to launch, optimization, and monitoring. You will ensure that all campaigns align with QuinStreet's objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs). Collaboration with account managers at ad networks will be essential to implement best practices and optimize targeting strategies for improved campaign performance. You will conduct in-depth competitive analyses to identify opportunities for new creative and advertorial testing, contributing to the creative direction of campaigns by providing guidance to the creative team on images, videos, and advertorial ideas. Regular reporting and feedback to the Director of Google will be a key responsibility, offering insights into media performance and advocating for necessary support to enhance campaign yield and margin. Staying updated on industry trends and developments in Google Display Network and YouTube ads will be crucial, as you will implement innovative strategies to drive campaign success and maintain a competitive advantage. You will also be expected to proactively direct and launch new tests and experiments aimed at further driving yield and margin, including A/B testing of ad copy, images/videos, and marketing funnels. Additionally, identifying and establishing new traffic source opportunities with media publishers and new ad networks will be part of your responsibilities.
