About the position

The Media Buyer, Retail Specialist at Meyer Corporation is responsible for managing and executing media strategies across various retail platforms to drive growth and performance for the company's diverse range of consumer brands. This role involves planning, optimizing, and managing digital media buys, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to align campaigns with business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan, and execute media buys across retail media networks such as Amazon, Walmart, and Target.
  • Manage campaigns across digital channels including display, paid search, video, and sponsored product ads.
  • Collaborate with brand teams to create media plans that align with product launches and promotional events.
  • Monitor and optimize campaign performance to meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct A/B testing to optimize ad performance and placements.
  • Allocate budgets across brands and campaigns effectively, ensuring optimal performance within budgetary constraints.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights on campaign performance to internal stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with retail media network representatives and negotiate media rates.
  • Partner with internal teams and agency partners to ensure seamless execution of media campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in media buying across retailer platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills to drive decision-making and optimize performance.
  • Proficient in managing media budgets and performance reporting.
  • Experience with DSP platforms and familiarity with programmatic buying.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in omni-channel marketing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce and retail landscape.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and performance tracking tools.
  • Experience with productivity tools like Asana and Slack.
