A top-notch Marketing & Advertising agency is seeking a Media Buyer to join their dynamic media buying team. This role is pivotal in managing the purchasing of commercial airtime and print space, ensuring that the agency's clients receive the best possible media placements. The Media Buyer will collaborate with various stakeholders to establish efficient and effective processes and procedures across the agency, all while fostering a culture that emphasizes Brand Conviction. This position serves as the primary point of contact with vendor partners, handling negotiations, contract executions, campaign launches, in-flight maintenance, post-reporting, and billing reconciliation. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be committed to delivering exceptional results for an ever-growing clientele. In this role, the Media Buyer will be responsible for managing television, radio, print, and sponsorship availabilities from station representatives. They will generate rating estimates by applying appropriate buy specifications and data sources, negotiate and secure local and national television, radio, and print media, and monitor ongoing buys to ensure they meet the established goals. The Media Buyer will also be responsible for evaluating makegoods, conducting post-buy reporting, and addressing any under-delivery issues. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for success in this position, as is the ability to negotiate the lowest rates in the market while tracking rate history to ensure the most efficient buys possible.
