About the position

The Media Campaign Strategy Manager at Deloitte is responsible for leading and managing media campaigns with a strong focus on digital platforms. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, ensuring that campaigns are effectively planned, executed, and analyzed to meet client objectives. The manager will work closely with various teams to develop innovative media strategies that drive engagement and measurable business growth for clients in the public sector.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow the role of paid media by participating in new business proposals and pitches.
  • Manage media campaigns and reporting with a strong focus on digital platforms including Meta and Google Ads.
  • Perform hands-on-keyboard buying and trafficking across Meta, Google Ads, and more.
  • Develop recommendations for awareness and performance campaign launches in collaboration with the strategy director.
  • Craft annual media strategy and guidelines based on competitive marketplace, media trends, consumer insights, and client communication objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Strategy team to evaluate new-to-market media proposals and trends.
  • Establish media and invoicing guidelines for various platforms, specifically for digital media.
  • Work closely with creative, production, and account teams to launch and execute campaigns successfully.
  • Analyze the performance of assigned campaigns and make strategy recommendations to improve effectiveness.
  • Identify potential client issues and work with the team to develop solutions.
  • Support in the planning and implementation of traditional campaigns from initial brief through to post-campaign analysis.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, advertising, and media planning.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience leveraging paid, earned, and owned media strategies.
  • Experience successfully developing and managing complex campaigns.
  • Hands-on-keyboard digital media buying expertise with a focus on digital platforms and social media.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
  • Ability to travel 20 - 50%, on average, based on the work and clients served.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate and present analysis, findings, and recommendations for marketing campaigns.
  • Understanding of 3rd party tracking and serving technologies.
  • Traditional planning experience (e.g., outdoor media, TV).
  • Additional experience leading Marketing Technology-specific client strategy.
