About the position

The Media Manager, Paid Search at 85SIXTY is responsible for building and managing paid search campaigns across Google and Bing, including PMAX, Demand Gen, YouTube, and GDN. This role involves day-to-day management and optimization of client portfolios, collaborating with internal teams to define strategic media goals, executing paid search strategies, and measuring performance against client objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, with a focus on delivering results in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to create full-funnel integrated marketing campaigns across all channels.
  • Build and manage all campaign types within the Google and Bing ecosystems.
  • Analyze real-time results and optimize campaigns to improve performance.
  • Deliver campaign performance projections and analyses with future implications in mind.
  • Proactively collaborate with the paid search team for QA, observations, and campaign builds.
  • Communicate with account management, planning, and analytics teams to enhance performance across accounts.
  • Directly communicate with clients on performance, optimization, and project status.
  • Monitor and test emerging industry trends in digital marketing.
  • Meet with and vet potential media and technology vendors.
  • Collaborate with organic search teams on keyword research and landing page insights.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of paid search buying experience.
  • Experience managing Google and Bing campaigns with 5-figure monthly budgets.
  • Strong computer skills including Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Slides.
  • Certification in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads; GA4 certification is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute performance-driven paid media campaigns.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
  • Self-directed and proactive in creating solutions and resolving issues.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with product feed configuration and maintenance.
  • Management of MetaSearch campaigns is favorable but not required.
  • Experience managing Paid Social campaigns is a plus.
