About the position

The Media Manager at VaynerMedia is responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of media plans that align with client goals and expectations. This role involves planning, optimizing, and reporting on campaigns to meet and exceed client success metrics while providing support to the team on various projects. The position requires working from the NYC office at least three days a week.

Responsibilities

• Monitor campaigns for performance to ensure they are pacing accordingly, managing spend, troubleshooting issues, and creating insights about performance.
• Create and present sophisticated media investment strategies to clients based on industry insights and quality assurance reporting.
• Develop and deliver client-facing campaign reports that showcase performance, new business opportunities, and storytelling, including pacing reports and ad-hoc analysis.
• Manage communication with senior leadership regarding crucial aspects of client business and urgent needs.
• Manage ad technology vendors necessary for executing specific campaign work.
• Collaborate across disciplines to create best-in-class, holistic omnichannel media strategies that drive tangible business outcomes for large brands.

Requirements

• 3+ years of media agency experience as a Media Buyer.
• Experience leading and managing teams or individuals.
• Advanced skills in Excel, including pivot tables, V-Look Ups, and macros.
• Experience with media platforms such as Paid Social, Programmatic, Connected TV/OTT, and Paid Search.
• Experience working with analytics, attribution, and measurement systems.
• An empathetic, patient, and collaborative spirit that fosters a positive work environment.
• A strong understanding of today's digital and mobile consumer, with a drive to succeed and a desire to learn more.
• Ability to lead by example in attention to detail, work ethic, empathy, and professionalism.
