About the position

CFDay is looking for a part-time Media Specialist (Video Editor) to support Department of Defense operations. This role involves on-call and intermittent work with a focus on video production, including shooting interviews and producing television stories. The position requires 100% travel when supporting missions, making it essential for candidates to be flexible and ready to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Shoot interviews and handle news conferences.
• Produce television stories on various aspects of a scenario.
• Piece together all elements developed by the team with file footage to create the finished product.

Requirements

• 6 years of experience in videography and video editing.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Journalism or Communications.
• Experience in a Public Affairs office or real-world media environment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro preferred but not required.
