About the position

The Media Specialist (Video Editor) position at CFDay is a part-time, on-call role focused on supporting Department of Defense (DoD) operations. The role involves videography and video editing, requiring travel to various locations to capture and produce video content for military scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Shoot interviews and handle news conferences.
• Produce television stories on various aspects of a scenario.
• Piece together all elements developed by the team with file footage to create the finished product.

Requirements

• 6 years of experience in videography and video editing.
• Experience in a Public Affairs office or real-world media.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Journalism or Communications.
• Experience using Adobe Premier Pro is preferred but not required.
