About the position

The Media Specialist (Video Editor) position at CFDay involves supporting Department of Defense (DoD) operations through videography and video editing. This part-time, on-call role requires 100% travel to various locations to capture and produce video content for military scenarios, ensuring adherence to strict guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Shoot interviews and handle news conferences.
• Produce television stories on various aspects of a scenario.
• Piece together all elements developed by the team with file footage to create the finished product.

Requirements

• 6 years of experience in videography and video editing.
• Experience in a Public Affairs office or real-world media.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Journalism or Communications.
• Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro preferred but not required.
