About the position

The Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist at e Business International Inc. is responsible for managing the accounting functions related to medical accounts receivable. This role involves ensuring accurate revenue recognition, collaborating with the Revenue Cycle Management team, overseeing the monthly close process, and preparing financial statements. The specialist will also manage vendor relationships and oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable and payroll, within a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely recognition of revenue in compliance with accounting standards and guidelines.
• Work closely with the Revenue Cycle Management team to streamline billing processes and optimize revenue cycle performance.
• Oversee and manage the monthly close process, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Liaise with financial vendors and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.
• Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance
• 3 to 5 years progressive experience in accounting/finance
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Healthcare/Clinic Experience Required
• Experience with Quickbooks and other accounting software is preferred
