About the position

The Medical Administrative Assistant I at Mass Eye and Ear - Concord's Satellite practice plays a crucial role in providing administrative support in a fast-paced Otolaryngology/Audiology clinic. This position serves as the primary interface between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring efficient management of patient information and administrative tasks related to patient care. The role emphasizes strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to physicians in a high-volume ambulatory clinic setting.
  • Act as the primary interface between patients and providers.
  • Manage confidential patient information and assist with incoming information via phone and fax.
  • Organize and prioritize administrative tasks related to patient care.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prefer 1 year of experience in a medical setting in a support/administrative position.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills for telephone and patient interaction.
  • Strong organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual in English and another language.
  • Experience with medical terminology.
