About the position

The Medical Affairs Manager (MAM) at Boston Scientific is responsible for executing the Medical Affairs strategy for the Peripheral Arterial portfolio. This role focuses on device education and adoption, clinical data, and clinical impact for Health Care Providers (HCPs). The MAM will collaborate with HCPs, lead strategic initiatives for scientific meetings, and work closely with senior management to align priorities across various departments.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate key interactions with national Key Opinion Leader (KOL) physician customers and Boston Scientific through defined corporate strategies.
  • Identify key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the industry and expand their involvement in the evidence planning process.
  • Collaborate across Medical, Clinical, and Health Economics & Market Access leads to support evidence planning and generation strategy.
  • Maintain communication with Key Opinion Leaders between events to help BSC achieve its goals.
  • Ensure KOLs have the most up-to-date clinical data for accurate representation at scientific meetings.
  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of relevant symposia and sponsored educational events.
  • Support the Medical Education team in content development and faculty preparation for BSC-sponsored events.
  • Serve as a liaison for clinical trial execution, including site selection and physician training.
  • Effectively communicate clinical study data to physicians and internal stakeholders.
  • Interact with Clinical, Marketing, Sales Leadership, and Senior Management to foster cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in life sciences, healthcare or a related field required.
  • Minimum 8 years of medical marketing/clinical/sales experience, preferably in cardiovascular, peripheral, and/or interventional fields.

Nice-to-haves

  • Extensive customer-facing experience and ability to develop strong KOL relationships.
  • Demonstrates outstanding strategic thinking abilities.
  • Proven experience as a Medical, Scientific or Clinical Affairs Manager, Medical Device Sales and/or Marketing.
  • Experience in interpreting and communicating clinical data with stakeholders.
